I've talk to and taken a class from Barb and I believe I could do this.

Wow. What a beauty. I've recently started doing Quilt Block in the hoop and it looks like this could be accomplished in this manner. However, upon looking at it much closer I can see that the quilting (which looks magnificient by the way) was done in a grid to make it appear as though the flying geese were done as individual blocks.l Congratulations Barb, fabulous quilt. Might want to think about publishing the pattern. I'd buy it.

How did barb do that? I have learned so much bout EQ6 from Barb, if only I had more time.

I have at times toyed with ideas for curved flying geese. The logistics of drafting the design are complex and this is done flawlessly. The color shading is well executed as well. Only the black background could make the colors pop as they do. Congratulations to Barb for a job so well done.

Very striking design and the black background makes it pop! Love the bright colors and choices used for placement also. Just a brilliant piece of art!! Love it, love it!

I love this design - and it is both awesome and inspiring - I hope Barb will not mind if I use the idea of a curved piece in a block repeating in a different way for a quilt of mine in the future - if I can get my head round the intricacies. Thanks for this. What a lovely quilt to see on my first trip to the gallery on my first day as a member!
