I was painting with the ladies at an assisted living. Cecelia chose purple for her daisies. Perfect, that is for the strippy quilt I had been trying to devise in my mind for two years. I had rejected daisies a week before thinking yellow, white, yuk. But purple was perfect. Then Dorothy painted her leaves from tips to the bottom of the leaf in one stroke. Perfect. I showed the ladies the quilt that they inspired at each step as it went together.
