Years ago I found a fabric with big blocks of individual flowers. I drafted the Grandmother's Favorite pattern to fit the flowers and made this quilt for my niece's 16th birthday. Each block has different calicos. The hand quilting is simple. Each flower is quilted to give it depth, the pieces are quilted in the ditch, and the sashes have cable quilting. The back is a green chintz.
