I am a fairly new quilter. My first class was a sampler in October, 2007. My second class was a Blooming Nine Patch. The turtle quilt I am hand quilting for my youngest son was a simple block I designed around a fat quarter my aunt gave me. The cat quilt I am making for my best friend is based around a panel designed by Laurel Burch. The pillowcase was also for my best friend. I am currently hand quilting a turtle quilt for my youngest son. I have a Blooming Nine Patch waiting for me to put the back together, and take to the shop for quilting. I have made the top and back of a cat quilt for my best friend. I have tried my hand at pillowcases too.
