I've been sewing by machine since I was eight, doll clothes first then a variety of garments as well as home decor. Early 2001 I took my first quilt class in Lyons CO with the best quilt teacher ever: Carolyn Beam. I was hooked after the first class session and haven't stopped quilting since. I spent several years teaching quilt classes in my hometown of Longmont, but due to increased work travel in the last year and a half I've had to put teaching on hold for now.
I collect fabric from all my travels and relish making special quilts for the special people in my life. I enjoy piecing and machine quilting with a tendancy to drive my machine as fast as I can.
