I have been a quilter since 1979, I do traditional hand quilting but I design my own quilts. I retired from California State employment in May of 2007 and have begun to regain my love of quilting and design.

Since our house is small I have had no real room for my hobbies in the past, but we live on 2.6 acres in the foothills east of Fresno California and my husband has just completed a 10 x 12 shed for me to use as a quilt and hobby studio. I had him put hooks and a brass pipe on one side to use for hanging quilts for outdoor photos. I also have a small patio to work outside. He did a beautiful job and I now have a wonderful new area to create in.
