My mom showed me how to hand-piece a Cathedral Window quilt (coverlet) about twenty years ago. Naturally, I thought it would look better with teeny-tiny one-inch squares in the centers. I've been quilting by hand ever since--as much as my time will allow--and really like designing miniature versions of traditional antique patterns. There are plenty to look at for inspiration here in central PA.
