Group: Texas Quilters Making a Difference (Public)

Created by: slewis234, Jan 10
This group of Texas Quilters young and old are making a difference by quilting for charities of choice. Local and Nationwide non-profits have need for good quilts whether it's for police officers to give to scared children when they are removed from their homes during abuse cases, or victims of crime etc. we can make a difference in making these children feel loved. We can also make warm quilts for homeless people who live on the streets, for the poor and elderly. Whatever your choice is, the group can participate. Let's make a difference in the lives of others while enriching our own and mentoring the young ones to quilt.

HOW TO PIECE DIAMONDS FOR LONE STAR
I have the back issues for 3 part series Nov. 06. It lacks instructions on how to sew diamonds together. I am frustrated to say the least. I also have Jinney Beyers Stained Glass Star from McCall's Oct. 99 and the same problem. Just says to sew diamonds together but they don't come out at all. Used template also. Help
